Peter supervises our tax and estate planning practice. He represents individuals and families in all aspects of estate planning, tax planning, and trust and estate administration. Peter also serves as a professional trustee of many client trusts, including high net worth trusts which demand more sophisticated knowledge of investment matters and trust administration.

Peter works with clients in connection with developing estate planning vehicles tailored to each client’s particular goals, including the use of more complex tools such as irrevocable life insurance trusts (ILITs), grantor retained annuity trusts (GRATs), qualified personal residence trusts (QPRTs), sales to grantor trusts and Crummey gift trusts. He also advises with respect to premarital agreements, providing insight into the practical, tax and legal implications of such arrangements.

He oversees the preparation of income tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, corporations and partnerships, gift tax returns, estate tax returns, and private foundation returns. Having worked previously as Tax Partner at Lynch, Brewer, Hoffman & Fink, LLP for over 30 years, Peter has a thorough understanding of the complexities of practicing before the Internal Revenue Service and other government entities, allowing him to effectively advocate on behalf of his clients in negotiations with these institutions.
